The Algerian women's national team continues its preparations in the best possible way. On their trip to Cairo, the Greens secured another win over Egypt (2-3), reaffirming their dominance after their victory a few days earlier in the first clash between the two sides.

Despite falling behind, the Algerian players showed tremendous character to turn the game around. Mélinne D’oria first brought the two teams level before Ines Boutaleb put her side ahead. Late in the match, Ines Khiri sealed the victory for Algeria, who overcame an Egyptian team spurred on by their home crowd.

With two wins from two games against Egypt, the national staff's protégés wrap up a convincing training camp in the Egyptian capital. It's an encouraging preparation ahead of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, whose organization might see some changes in the coming months, although no official announcement has yet been made.
