FC Barcelona will have to make do without their young star Lamine Yamal, who picked up an injury during the match against Celta Vigo, played as part of La Liga's 33rd round.

The Spanish international suffered the injury shortly after opening the scoring with a penalty, before feeling pain in the back of his right thigh (hamstring). Unable to continue, he was forced to leave the pitch.

Barça: Yamal out for several weeks

According to Mundo Deportivo, initial tests suggest a muscle tear, which could keep him off the pitch for at least five weeks and put the rest of his season in jeopardy.

Further medical examinations will be carried out in the coming hours to establish a precise diagnosis and determine the exact length of his absence.
