After scoring a goal against Elche this Sunday, Lamine Yamal is still not fully fit. Hansi Flick addressed the issue.

Yesterday, Barça secured a 3-1 victory over Elche. However, concerns continue to surround Lamine Yamal. While he netted the opening goal, the Spanish prodigy has been struggling for several weeks with a groin injury, which has limited his playing time and requires meticulous management of his physical condition. Speaking at the post-match press conference, the Spanish coach was very clear about the situation: "We need to manage his injury, and he is disciplined. He has to train, follow his treatment... and he does it. I can't say the injury is over, it comes and goes. And he has to handle it."

Flick emphasized that, despite Yamal's return to the pitch, he is not yet at his best: "Like everyone, he can improve. He is not at one hundred percent and he has room to progress. He will do it. He is a great player. He has opportunities." These comments highlight Barça's necessary caution with their young forward, whose potential is immense but whose fitness remains delicate.
