Bayern Munich: Neymar gives Michael Olise a gift after his hat-trick

Michael Olise enjoyed a perfect evening with Bayern, combining a remarkable hat-trick, a resounding victory and an unexpected gift from Neymar.

Michael Olise could hardly have dreamed of a better evening. On Friday, the Frenchman was one of the leading figures in Bayern Munich’s emphatic victory over Union Berlin (7-0) on matchday four of the Bundesliga. The winger scored a hat-trick and provided an assist for Harry Kane, taking his tally to 8 goals and 3 assists in 7 matches in all competitions.

But the evening did not end with his performance on the pitch. After the match, Olise received a particularly symbolic gift: a Neymar shirt, delivered by Brazilian journalist Isabela Pagliari. The Frenchman, usually very reserved in his reactions, broke into a broad smile when he discovered the Santos jersey.

The footage quickly attracted attention. Isabela Pagliari had already acted as an intermediary for a similar gift from Neymar to Désiré Doué. This time, it was Olise who received the shirt from the former PSG and Barcelona player.

The gesture was reciprocal, as the France international in turn entrusted a shirt for Neymar. It was a special memento for a player whose media profile remains deliberately low-key despite his growing importance at Bayern and with the France national team.

He shares the spotlight with Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, Vinícius Júnior, Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland, among others.

Olise’s presence in this selection rewards his rise to the highest level. Thierry Henry recently placed Olise among the players who have made the strongest impression in the race for the Ballon d’Or.

With his hat-trick against Union Berlin and already impressive statistics at the start of the season, the Frenchman is continuing to build his sporting case ahead of the verdict.
