After delivering outstanding performances since joining Bayern Munich, Michael Olise is on the verge of being rewarded by the club's management. The German side is eager to extend the French international’s contract and make him one of the highest-paid players in the squad.

According to several sources, Bayern is working on a new deal that would tie Olise to the club until June 2031. This move aims to fend off interest from European giants such as Real Madrid and Liverpool, who are closely monitoring his situation. The Munich board is reportedly ready to offer him a salary approaching €25 million per season, putting him on par with the club’s biggest stars.

Signed from Crystal Palace FC for €53 million, Olise has taken his game to a whole new level. Last season, the 24-year-old tallied 22 goals and 31 assists in 52 appearances. Bayern hopes to finalize this deal as soon as the 2026 World Cup ends to secure the future of one of its main attacking assets.
