CAF Champions League final 2026: When will the AS FAR – Sundowns clash take place?
AS FAR have booked their place in the African Champions League final after overcoming RS Berkane with a 2-1 aggregate score in the semi-finals.
Despite a 1-0 defeat in the return leg, the Moroccan club made the difference thanks to their decisive 2-0 victory in the first leg.
In the second leg, Yassine Labhiri scored Berkane's only goal from the penalty spot in the 57th minute, but it wasn’t enough to bring his side back into the tie.
Confirmed dates for the AS FAR – Sundowns final
Mamelodi Sundowns, meanwhile, secured their spot in the final after knocking out Espérance de Tunis. The South African side once again clinched a 1-0 win in the second leg, underlining their dominance over both matches.
The final will be played over two legs. The first leg is set for May 15 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, while the return leg will take place on May 24 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.
