CAN 2025: CAF unveils its best XI (official)

After nearly a month of intense action at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced its Team of the Tournament. The competition concluded with Senegal crowned champions, overcoming Morocco in the final after extra time, in a tournament marked by numerous controversies.

This selection brings together standout players from the tournament’s most impressive teams, listed without ranking or commentary, in keeping with end-of-tournament tradition. CAF has highlighted eleven players whose consistency and presence left a mark on this year’s AFCON.
