The Algerian national team faces off this Wednesday against their Equatorial Guinean counterparts, in the third and final round of the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Morocco until January 18.

The match will be played at the El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

Already guaranteed to finish top of their group, the "Fennecs" have delivered a flawless performance in their opening two fixtures. They launched their campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Sudan, followed by a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Burkina Faso.

With qualification already secured, Swiss coach Vladimir Petković may opt to rotate his starting eleven. The probable lineup for Algeria is as follows:

Oussama Benbot – Youcef Atal – Zineddine Belaïd – Mohamed Amine Tougai – Mehdi Dorval – Ramiz Zerrouki, Himad Abdelli – Farès Chaibi, Anis Hadj Moussa, Adel Boulbina – Monsef Bakrar

Algeria will be looking to wrap up the group stage on a high note before taking on DR Congo in the Round of 16.
