Carrick reacts to the buzz around a Manchester United fan and his hair

For nearly 500 days, Frank Ilett, a devoted Manchester United supporter, has taken on a challenge as quirky as it is viral: not cutting his hair until his club strings together five consecutive victories. This symbolic bet, meticulously documented each day on social media, has turned him into a true sensation, drawing the attention of millions of followers.

Asked about this phenomenon, Michael Carrick responded with a dose of humor, while admitting he had only learned about it through his family:

“It was my kids who made me aware of it, but this topic will definitely not be brought up in any professional team talks. I understand what's going on and it makes me smile, but ultimately, it will have no impact.”

With the Red Devils currently riding a four-game winning streak, the upcoming clash against West Ham could finally allow Ilett to end his long wait. If not, then it’s back to square one—hair included.
