It's all over in this Champions League quarter-final first leg between Real Madrid and Bayern (1-2).

In a crackling atmosphere, both teams fought fiercely for control of the ball. Late in the first half, Bayern finally earned their reward. Set through on goal by Gnabry, Diaz coolly finished past Lunin (0-1, 41').

Right after the break, the Munich side struck again, as Kane fired a precise shot from the edge of the box following a clever pass from Olise (0-2, 46'). Kept in the match by a key save from Lunin on Olise's long-range effort, Los Blancos struggled to mount a response and suffered, with Carreras particularly having a tough night.

Real Madrid had Kylian Mbappé to thank. The Frenchman finally beat Neuer with a close-range finish from an Alexander-Arnold cross (1-2, 74'). That goal reignited Madrid, who pushed desperately for an equalizer, but Neuer stood firm against Vinicius. Despite a tense finale, Bayern claimed a crucial away victory.
