Chelsea is highly interested in signing Andy Diouf!
The winter transfer window could spark yet another tug-of-war among Europe's heavyweight clubs, this time over Andy Diouf.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Chelsea have set their sights on the 23-year-old midfielder, a French player of Senegalese descent, drawn to his versatility. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping a close watch on his development, with his recent performances for the French national team having caught the eye.
Back in September 2026, Zinédine Zidane handed Diouf his first call-up to the Bleus, and the player went on to make his international debut during the Nations League campaign. Notably, he was given a starting role at left-back against Belgium, showcasing his ability to adapt to whatever his team requires.
He is excelling with Inter Milan and turning heads
Since making the move from RC Lens to Inter Milan in the summer of 2025, Andy Diouf has steadily grown into a more prominent figure within the Nerazzurri squad. His physical strength, mobility, and versatility have made him a player that European football watchers hold in high regard.
Chelsea may therefore look to make a move for him, though no agreement or formal offer from the Blues has been confirmed at this stage. Barcelona and PSG could also throw their hats into the ring should their interest take concrete form.
For Inter Milan, the priority will be to hold onto a player capable of filling several roles and to see him continue his rise at the highest level. Tied to the club until June 30, 2030, Andy Diouf carries an estimated market value of €30 million.
