During his latest appearance before the press, Nicolas Jackson made a striking revelation about his sudden move to Bayern.

Nicolas Jackson left Chelsea this summer. The Senegalese striker, introduced to Bayern fans last Friday, admitted that his loan from Chelsea was extremely challenging emotionally. In fact, just after landing in Germany, the English club decided to cancel his loan due to a two-month injury to Liam Delap. A new round of negotiations was required.

"It was a tough period. The last days of the transfer window were difficult, but in the end, we made it, and I’m very happy about that. I was very confident I’d stay here because this is where I want to play and where I want to be," the Senegalese international revealed. Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed, describing it as a "tough fight. Those were really difficult 48 hours, with everything that entailed."
