Cristiano Ronaldo has once again hinted at retirement. At 41, the Portuguese forward admits that the end of his professional career is now approaching fast.

In an interview with Canal GOAT, the Al-Nassr FC superstar said he is savoring every match, fully aware that the final whistle is drawing near.

I don't play just for this generation, but also for those who came before and those who will come after. I enjoy every day, every match, every year, even though I'm getting closer to the end. That's a fact.

Still delivering on the pitch, Ronaldo keeps scoring goals and remains a key player in the Saudi Pro League title race:

My career has been wonderful and I want it to stay that way. I'm still having fun, I'm still scoring goals, but the most important thing is winning.

But the Portuguese icon made his timeline clear: he could hang up his boots in a year or two, even though he still feels in top shape.

When I say soon, I probably mean in a year or two.

Despite this outlook, Ronaldo remains fiercely competitive with Al-Nassr, still battling for the Saudi Pro League crown, and is also preparing for another World Cup campaign with Portugal.
