Egypt cup: Zizo will not play for Zamalek against Pyramids

Unless there is a dramatic turn of events, Egyptian international Ahmed Sayed, known as Zizo, is not expected to wear Al Zamalek's jersey again in the 2024-2025 season.

This decision comes after the "Pharaoh" opted to join historic rivals Al Ahly from next season.

Although he has returned to training, he will not be allowed to take part in any matches, including the Egypt Cup final against Pyramids, scheduled for June 5.

A bittersweet end to the adventure for the former Lierse player, who joined the "White House" in 2019 from Moreirense.

Zizo's season in numbers

In 31 appearances for the Egyptian football giants this season, Zizo scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists.

His market value is estimated at 4 million euros, which is 1 million euros less than in 2023.
