According to sources that have reached the Africafoot editorial team, FC Gais has set its sights on Emmanuel Moungam. The Cameroonian center-back has caught the attention of the Swedish first-division club's management after just three Swedish Cup appearances with his current team, Landskrona BoIS.

Having joined the Swedish second-division side this past winter, Moungam has quickly established himself as one of the standout performers in his squad. Starting in all three of his team's opening matches of the season in the Swedish Cup, he delivered a series of displays that turned heads—including those of FC Gais.

Standing nearly 1.90 meters tall, the left-footed central defender is not only physically imposing but also technically comfortable on the ball. The newly capped Cameroonian international could see his career take a decisive turn as early as this summer. He has just signed a two-season contract with his present club, yet a departure before its expiration remains a real possibility.

Initial discussions have already taken place between FC Gais and Moungam's representatives regarding his situation. For now, the former Victoria United player remains focused on his current season, but the first-division club has decided to keep close tabs on him and intends to make a move this coming summer. This represents encouraging news for Moungam, who is likely to play with added motivation as he looks to take a significant step forward in his career in the weeks ahead.

A young defender who left Cameroon for Denmark two years ago, Moungam initially struggled to find his path. Now that he is just beginning to settle in at his Swedish second-division club, he has already received a call-up to the Indomitable Lions for the FIFA Series in Australia—where he was named in the starting lineup for the match against the Australian side.

Renowned for his technical ability and commanding defensive presence, Moungam now has an extra objective: to convince the FC Gais decision-makers of his potential. Doing so could open the door to a contract with one of the most prestigious clubs in the Swedish top flight.
