Morocco will be aiming to cause a sensation on Wednesday as they chase a ticket to the final of the U20 World Cup.

Their task won't be easy against a French squad packed with talented players, highly sought after by the biggest clubs on the "Old Continent."

To discuss the keys to success for the "Atlas Cubs" against "Les Bleuets", Foot Africa spoke with Moroccan sports journalist Youssef Lairji, who shared the following insights.

In my opinion, Morocco should stick to the same game plan used in the quarter-final against the United States, which relied primarily on fast attacking play to unsettle a French team that has shown clear defensive frailties.

I believe coach Mohamed Ouahbi will find the right words to motivate his players to give everything they've got, especially with such a huge challenge at stake—a historic qualification for the U20 World Cup final.

It's also crucial to be rock-solid at the back, particularly as France boasts a fearsome attack, evidenced by their eleven goals scored in five matches during the tournament.

Of course, the "Atlas Cubs" will need to show unbreakable fighting spirit to win as many offensive and defensive duels as possible—undoubtedly the key to the match.

What you need to know about the Morocco vs France clash

The Elías Figueroa Brander Stadium in Valparaíso, Chile, will host this U20 World Cup showdown on Wednesday, October 15, kicking off at 8pm GMT.

While Morocco is chasing a maiden appearance in the final of the junior showpiece, France will be aiming for a second title after their 2013 triumph, when they edged out Uruguay on penalties (4-1) following a draw in regular time.

This semi-final will be broadcast on several TV channels, including beIN Sports and FIFA's official platform (FIFA+).
