Barça released a reassuring medical statement this Sunday regarding two players from its squad. Ronald Araujo is among those concerned.

On Saturday night, Ronald Araujo was substituted in the first half against Atlético Madrid. The defender is suffering from a minor muscle overload in his left thigh. However, he will be available for the crucial Champions League clash on Wednesday, once again facing Atlético Madrid.

This is a huge relief for Hansi Flick, who will be able to rely on a key defensive asset for this Champions League quarter-final. However, young midfielder Marc Bernal has suffered a sprain to his left ankle. The exact recovery time has not yet been set and will depend on how his injury progresses in the coming days.
