Today, on Sunday, April 19th, Mohamed Salah scored his ninth goal against their fierce rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby. Salah reached this milestone after 14 appearances against the blue side of Manchester, and he has also contributed three assists in the same number of matches.

This record for Mohamed Salah is one of the best records ever set by a player against a single opponent in the history of Premier League matches since its inception.

With this goal, Mohamed Salah also equaled the record of Liverpool legend, former England star Steven Gerrard, so that they have the same number of goals, 9 for each player.
