Imminent transfer? Dynamo Makhachkala targets Elias Mokwana

The Tunisian club Espérance Sportive de Tunis has received an official offer from the Russian side Dynamo Makhachkala for the loan of South African talent Elias Mokwana for a season, with an option to buy at the end of the loan spell.

A meeting is expected to take place in the coming days between Espérance's management and the player's representatives to discuss the proposal and reach a final decision about his future.

Mokwana has made his mark in the red and yellow jersey, featuring in 38 matches across all competitions, where he netted 7 goals. He notably played 25 games in the Ligue Professionnelle 1, scoring 3 times.

He also participated in 8 CAF Champions League fixtures, adding 3 more goals to his tally. Additionally, he appeared in 3 FIFA Club World Cup matches.

Thanks to his standout performances, Mokwana played a pivotal role in Espérance’s domestic double triumph—winning both the league and the cup—and established himself as a key player for the squad.

It’s worth noting that the current market value of the South African international is estimated at around 750,000 euros, according to the specialist site Transfermarkt.
