According to reliable media sources, notably the outlet Compétition, the player has reportedly given his verbal agreement to return to the "Doyen," opening a new chapter in his story with his boyhood club.
The 2023-2024 season was outstanding for Belaïli, who netted 16 goals and provided 14 assists, playing a pivotal role in the "Chnaouas" clinching the Algerian league title.
Recently, Belaïli expressed his deep nostalgia for the club and its fans by posting a video on Instagram in which he sings one of Mouloudia’s iconic anthems with his son—a touching testament to his strong bond with the "Doyen."
On the financial front, Belaïli’s value has been set at one million euros by Espérance de Tunis, a figure that poses a real challenge for MCA, whose initial offer was turned down by the Tunisian club.
It is worth noting that Espérance have yet to issue any official statement regarding the future of the player, who remains under contract, particularly after his commendable performance at the FIFA Club World Cup.
