Monaco: another setback for Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba will not be making the trip to Auxerre this Sunday for the Coupe de France round of 32. During the press conference, Sébastien Pocognoli confirmed the player’s absence without hesitation: "Paul will be out." It’s a clear-cut decision, dictated by the player’s current physical condition and the desire to avoid any unnecessary risks at this stage of the season.

The coach then emphasized Pogba’s mindset—clear-eyed yet determined:

"Of course, an injured player feels affected, a bit down... But he has tremendous strength of character. [...] In any case, he’s working hard. We’re here to support him, no matter what the situation."
