Official: Kurt Zouma bounces back in the Emirates

Kurt Zouma has found a new club. Without a team since terminating his contract with CFR Cluj in January, the French defender has signed with Al-Wasl FC until the end of the season.

The ex-Chelsea FC player was also being tracked by Chinese clubs, but he opted to head for Dubai. The transfer was facilitated by Eric Abidal, former FC Barcelona player and current sporting director of Al-Wasl. The Emirati club currently sits fourth in the UAE Pro League. Zouma will bring his top-level European experience to bolster the defense for the season run-in.
