According to Foot Mercato, the deal was concluded for €1.5 million, the exact amount of the release clause in his contract with Marseille. As a result, Marseille will receive €1.5 million.
"Deportivo welcomes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The striker arrives from Olympique de Marseille after a brilliant season: 30 matches, 10 goals, and 6 assists in Ligue 1. With his arrival, we add a world-class player with tremendous experience and leadership to strengthen our sporting project," stated the Galician club.
