This Sunday, on matchday 10 of the Premier League, Sunderland host Chelsea at the Stadium of Light. Can bottom-of-the-table Sunderland get their season up and running against Xabi Alonso's side?

Last time out, Regis Le Bris's team lost 3-1 to Coventry City and have taken just two points from their last three league matches. Sunderland have also lost to Bournemouth and Brighton.

Meanwhile, Chelsea travel to the north of England full of confidence after beating Manchester United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. The result lifted Xabi Alonso's side to fourth in the Premier League.

Where to watch the match

To watch this Premier League match between Sunderland and Chelsea, viewers will need to tune in to Canal Live, which will broadcast the game. The TV schedule confirms kick-off is at 15:00.

It is worth noting that a trip to the Stadium of Light has always been a difficult one for Chelsea, and Sunderland won the last meeting between the two sides at home.

Predicted line-ups

Sunderland will be without suspended Omar Alderete, while Romaine Mundle and Daniel Ballard remain sidelined with injuries. Reece James, Joao Pedro, Maxence Lacroix, Jamie Gittens and Jorrel Hato are all unavailable through injury for Chelsea, but Emiliano Martinez is expected to return in goal.

Here are the predicted line-ups:

Sunderland (4-2-3-1): Roefs; Hume, Mukiele, O'Nien, Reinildo; Xhaka, Sadiki; Rigg, Le Fee, Angulo; Brobbey.

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Penders; Acheampong, Fofana, Colwill, Palestra; Henderson, Lavia; Estevao, Palmer, Rogers; Neto.
