Senegalese presence will be highly significant in the upcoming edition of the Premier League.

The competition is set to kick off on Friday, August 15, with a marquee opening clash pitting defending champions Liverpool against Bournemouth.

No fewer than seven Senegalese players are expected to compete in the 2025-2026 Premier League season, including veteran Idrissa Gana Gueye, who has just extended his contract with Everton, where he'll be joined by Iliman Ndiaye, who arrived last year from Olympique de Marseille.

Meanwhile, Pape Matar Sarr will continue his journey with Tottenham Hotspur, Ismaïla Sarr will remain at Crystal Palace, and Nicolas Jackson will feature for Chelsea.

Habib Diarra leaves Ligue 1

Two fresh talents are set to join the Senegalese contingent in England: Hadji Malick Diouf at West Ham United and Habib Diarra at Sunderland. Both players made their mark last season with Slavia Prague and Strasbourg, respectively.

Over the years, several Senegalese stars have left their mark on the Premier League, such as Sadio Mané with Liverpool and Southampton, and Cheikhou Kouyaté with West Ham and Crystal Palace.
