PSG: a strong gesture toward Kvaratskhelia despite his injury
A press report revealed this Thursday that Paris Saint-Germain want to extend the contract of their Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia despite his torn cruciate ligament.
Kvaratskhelia set to extend his contract until 2032
International broadcaster “Radio Monte-Carlo” reported that the Parisian club are looking to extend the player’s contract until June 2032, instead of his current deal, which expires in 2029.
Kvaratskhelia, 25, and a Ballon d’Or candidate this season, was injured on Tuesday during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 victory over Barcelona.
The report added that the club’s management intends to make the Georgian winger one of the team’s highest-paid players, despite an injury that could keep him out until the end of the season.
The Georgian international is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days, with a lengthy absence anticipated.
