Mokwena’s current stint with Libyan outfit Al Ittihad appears to be winding down, following a run of underwhelming results. Now, the Egyptian heavyweights have reportedly turned their attention to him, valuing his prior experience in the region—having previously managed in both Morocco and Libya.

A move to Egypt could offer Mokwena a timely reset, especially after his difficult spell in Libya failed to yield the expected returns.
