In the semi-finals of this 2026 World Cup, France's Les Bleus are set to battle Spain and their rising star, Lamine Yamal.

After Spain's victory over Belgium in the quarter-finals (2-1), Lamine Yamal sent a clear warning to Les Bleus. "We have beaten France in our last two meetings. If anyone should be afraid, it's France, not us... We'll see what happens, but we're not scared." he declared.

Asked to respond to the words of FC Barcelona's star, Ibrahima Konaté remained remarkably composed: "No, no, no... Honestly, we don't pay attention to what's being said. We shouldn't fear anyone, we have to stay humble and not fall into this trap, especially at this stage of the tournament.
