Scoring from the penalty spot for Borussia Dortmund against Juventus in a spectacular 4-4 draw, Ramy Bensebaïni kicked off his UEFA Champions League campaign in style.

The Algerian defender, however, endured a frustrating end to the match as his team conceded twice in stoppage time, letting a well-deserved victory slip away.

Adem Zorgane, meanwhile, made his European debut with Union Saint-Gilloise, helping the Belgian side secure an impressive 3-1 away win over PSV Eindhoven. A third Algerian, Amine Gouiri, was also in action on Tuesday night. Coming off the bench, he couldn't prevent Olympique de Marseille from falling 2-1 to Real Madrid.
