Rashford's ultimatum to stay at Barça!

Arriving this summer in Barcelona, Marcus Rashford quickly established himself as a key component in Hansi Flick's system. Brilliant on the pitch, the English forward now sees his future only in Catalonia—provided certain guarantees are met. According to Sport, the player's representatives have already started talks with the Blaugrana management to negotiate a contract extension that could tie him to the club until 2030.

Three conditions for an extension

But Rashford has no intention of rushing things. His camp has put forward three clear demands before signing any new deal: a long-term contract to fully commit to the project, a salary adjustment in line with the club's financial situation, and above all, the guarantee of a central role in Flick's setup. The Englishman wants to be a pillar, not just a squad rotation option.

Within the club, Barça are keen to continue this partnership, as Rashford impresses with his professionalism and influence in the dressing room. However, negotiations remain delicate amid the Catalans' still fragile economic context. If an agreement is reached before the next transfer window, Rashford could send a powerful message: that of a player ready to build Barça's future for the long haul, with loyalty and ambition.
