In recent hours, Xabi Alonso has summoned Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappé for a discussion, particularly regarding the penalty situation.

Last Saturday, Kylian Mbappé offered his penalty to Vinícius Júnior against Valencia. Many highlighted the fact that the Frenchman gave up his chance to take the penalty, which could have allowed him to complete a hat-trick. Others, however, criticized his gesture, arguing that he should have taken his responsibility as the designated penalty taker more seriously, in line with Xabi Alonso's rules.

Speaking to the media, Xabi refused to fuel any controversy and was quick to defuse the situation after the match. However, behind closed doors, the Spanish coach called in both players to address the incident. According to information from Defensa Central, Xabi told them not to repeat this in the future. He does not want players managing themselves on the pitch and insists that he must be consulted before such decisions are made.
