Federico Valverde has publicly revisited the controversy that shook Real Madrid this season following his clash with Aurélien Tchouaméni. Heavily criticized after the incident, the Uruguayan midfielder admitted that the episode deeply affected him on a personal level.

"I feel very good, I’ve had support from many people and the affection of the fans. The club’s support as well," he said.
