Real Madrid: Vinicius Jr's promise ahead of Atlético Madrid clash
Still scoreless against Elche in La Liga on Tuesday evening (2-3), Vinicius Jr made a promise to Real Madrid's fans.
After producing very average performances since the start of the season, Brazilian international Vinicius Junior (26, 7 matches and 1 goal in all competitions this season) is determined to open his account at the best possible moment. Indeed, just days before the derby against Atlético Madrid, the Real Madrid winger expressed his confidence despite his current lack of efficiency.
"My goals will be coming back soon. I can't miss that many! There will be more of them on Sunday. Hala Madrid!", the Brazilian promised. That promise now only needs to be fulfilled against the capital's rivals next Sunday.
