On Tuesday evening, after the hard-fought victory over Elche, José Mourinho highlighted a flaw in his team.

Despite the hard-fought 3-2 victory over Elche on Tuesday evening in La Liga, José Mourinho was not pleased with Real Madrid's lapse in concentration. Indeed, while his team was leading 2-0 and appeared to be in control, the Portuguese coach regretted its inability to put the match definitively beyond reach.

"The problem is obvious. These are matches in which we have chances to finish the game off, and we don't take them. When everything seems easy, we ease off, lose control and misread the situation. (...) If we alternate moments of brilliance with others in which we are passive and lack intensity, of course that is concerning. But we won", José Mourinho acknowledged at a press conference.
