Reneilwe Letsholonyane guided Mochudi Centre Chiefs to a second straight win after a 2-1 victory over Enesia in the FNB Botswana Premiership.

The 44-year-old mentor also beat Township Rollers 2-1 in his second match in charge, and lost 2-0 to TAFIC in his maiden game at the helm.

Chiefs, as a result, currently sit in fourth place with 10 points accumulated, and trail log leaders Tonota FC with four points.

Yeye took over the reins last month, replacing Spanish tactician Miguel Corral, who was shown the exit door after a slow start to the 2026/27 campaign.

He was lured from Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit FC Platinum, where he was serving as assistant to compatriot Thabo Senong.

Notably, the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder is no stranger to the Botswana topflight division, having coached Matebele FC to a 10th-placed finish last term.

Letsholonyane was subsequently nominated for the Botswana FNB Premiership Coach of the Season award, but was beaten to the accolade by Sean Connor.

With Chiefs set to swing back to action against Jwaneng Galaxy on home soil on Sunday, the former Bafana international will be eager to maintain momentum.
