A devastating blow for the player and Pyramids
It is a heavy blow for the player, who had been hoping to see the ban reduced or its enforcement postponed. Instead, the four-year suspension remains firmly in place, stemming from the case involving a prohibited substance.
Ikrami El-Shahat, the father of Ramadan Sobhi's wife, revealed that the Swiss Federal Court rejected the appeal submitted by the player, confirming that the suspension stands.
El-Shahat also noted that the defence team is preparing a fresh legal move in the coming hours, with a petition set to be filed as they seek new action regarding the player's punishment following the rejection of the appeal.
