After leaving Villarreal, the Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey joined Al-Shabab as a free agent and played his first minutes just 24 hours after signing.

Thomas Partey has finally found his new destination. The Ghana international has joined Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia as a free agent following his time at Villarreal. Hardly had the ink dried on his contract when the midfielder made his debut for his new club against Al-Khaleej.

Lightning start with Al-Shabab

Thomas Partey wasted no time discovering the Saudi Pro League. Just twenty-four hours after putting pen to paper with Al-Shabab, the Ghanaian was thrown straight into the clash against Al-Khaleej. The Black Stars' vice-captain featured for 32 minutes in his first appearance for the Saudi side.
