Thomas Partey has finally found his new destination. The Ghana international has joined Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia as a free agent following his time at Villarreal. Hardly had the ink dried on his contract when the midfielder made his debut for his new club against Al-Khaleej.
Lightning start with Al-Shabab
Thomas Partey wasted no time discovering the Saudi Pro League. Just twenty-four hours after putting pen to paper with Al-Shabab, the Ghanaian was thrown straight into the clash against Al-Khaleej. The Black Stars' vice-captain featured for 32 minutes in his first appearance for the Saudi side.
This rapid introduction highlights the player's determination to quickly settle into his new surroundings. After several weeks of uncertainty about his future, Partey can now focus fully on this new chapter in his career.
