On Friday, June 27, 2025, Strasbourg officially announced the signing of Senegalese talent Pape Demba Diop.

A product of the Diambars FC academy, Pape Demba Diop played last season at Zulte Waregem, where he scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists. This Friday, he officially decided to embark on a new adventure at Strasbourg. The club has confirmed the signing of the 21-year-old midfielder. Having already earned one cap for Senegal, he has signed a contract with Racing running until 2030.

"Racing and Belgian club Zulte Waregem have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 21-year-old Senegalese international. Pape Demba Diop will become the nineteenth Senegalese player in the club’s history, joining the likes of internationals Habib Beye, Habib Diallo, Habib Diarra, Kader Mangane, and Mamadou Niang. He is now tied to Racing until 2030," wrote the French club.
