After a dramatic round of fixtures on matchday six of the UEFA Champions League, several strikers seized the opportunity to boost their numbers and climb the scoring charts.

Kylian Mbappé, who remained on the bench during the Real Madrid – Manchester City clash (1-2), maintained his three-goal lead at the top of the scoring chart. The French international leads with 9 goals.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland, who netted the winning penalty (43rd minute), joined Victor Osimhen in second place with 6 goals. The Nigerian striker drew a blank as Galatasaray traveled to Monaco (1-0).

Both finding the net—against Leverkusen (2-2) and Club Brugge (0-3) respectively—Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon and Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli joined Harry Kane in fourth position with 5 goals each.
