Tosin Adarabioyo has decided to play for the Super Eagles rather than the Three Lions, according to Nigerian media reports.

Approached by the English FA, the Chelsea defender has chosen to represent his parents' homeland. This is a major boost for Eric Chelle's defensive line.

Tosin Adarabioyo joined Manchester City at the age of nine. He was already playing with the U18s at just 14 years old and signed his first professional contract in 2014.

After not getting his chance with Manchester City's first team, he was loaned out to West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers.

Following two solid seasons, he joined Fulham, where he made a name for himself over four seasons. In June 2024, he moved to Chelsea, where he has already racked up 55 appearances (5 goals, 1 assist).

A former England U17 international, the 27-year-old is now set to represent Nigeria, with official confirmation expected in the coming days.
