Côte d’Ivoire hammered home a second in the 14th minute through Inès Konan. The same Inès Konan struck again in the 22nd minute to secure a brace and make it 3-0. In just 45 minutes, the Elephants wrapped up the match and showcased all their ambitions after a 12-year absence from the AFCON. With this emphatic scoreline, the Ivorians temporarily seize the top spot in Group B.
