Burkina Faso is set to compete in Group B of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations alongside South Africa, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania. The tournament kicks off this Sunday, July 26, in Morocco.

Introducing the Burkina Faso women's national team

The Burkinabè team is making its second appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations finals after debuting in 2022, where they exited in the group stage. This time, head coach Pascal Sawadogo will rely on Eibar's star in Spain, Alimata Bélem, as well as team captain and defender for Union Sportive des Forces Armées, Charlotte Millogo, to lead the charge.
