Cristiano Ronaldo didn't start the 2026 World Cup the way he hoped against DR Congo (1-1). The former Real Madrid star even faced heavy criticism.

Thierry Henry had also taken aim at the Portuguese. "It's the team that has to score, not you," said the 1998 World Cup winner, who pointed out the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's individualism. But this Friday, the Frenchman changed his tune regarding the Portuguese star.
