This Monday, Spain makes its debut in the 2026 World Cup. La Roja faces Cape Verde in the opening match of Group H in Atlanta. The lineups have been announced.

After being sidelined with injury in recent weeks, Lamine Yamal returns for this match but starts on the bench. Luis de la Fuente can now count on his entire squad. On the other side, Cape Verde's coach Pedro Brito also has a full squad at his disposal.

Here are the official starting lineups:

Spain: Simon - Llorente, Cubarsi, Laporte, Cucurella - Rodri (c), Ruiz - Torres, Pedri, Gavi - Oyarzabal.

Cape Verde: Vozinha - Moreira, Borges, Lopes, S. Cabral - Pina, Duarte - Mendes (c), Monteiro, J. Cabral - Livramento.
