Algeria, Morocco: Rabah Madjer sets the record straight!
Rabah Madjer was keen to set the record straight after comments were attributed to him without foundation. Speaking from Doha, the former Greens legend firmly denied these claims in a statement to the Algerian outlet Compétition.

In a statement, he was unequivocal:
“I was surprised to discover comments allegedly attributed to me by the Moroccan website 'Botola Al-Youm', showing a complete disregard for journalistic ethics. I want to make it clear that I have not made any statement to this site or to any other media outlet recently.”
The former national team coach also made sure to clarify his position, reminding everyone that decisions related to the CAN do not directly concern him. He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to his country: “a constant commitment to protecting the image and reputation of my country, Algeria.”
