Morocco's A' team was crowned Arab champions after defeating Jordan 3-2 in the final. Among the standout features of this Moroccan squad were their defensive solidity and, above all, their goalkeeper.

Indeed, before the final, Tarek Sektioui's men conceded just one goal in five matches, keeping clean sheets against Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.

These performances earned Mehdi Benabid the award for best goalkeeper of the tournament. The 27-year-old shot-stopper plays for Wydad Casablanca and is considered one of the top keepers in Morocco's Botola.
