Barça shuts the door on a Raphinha exit
FC Barcelona has no intention of parting ways with Raphinha. While the Brazilian winger is frequently linked with a move to Saudi clubs, president Joan Laporta has been crystal clear about his future.
The Catalan president emphasized that letting the player go is not being considered, underlining that Raphinha remains a key figure in Hansi Flick’s squad:
We do not want him to leave FC Barcelona. On the contrary, Raphinha is a fundamental player for our team.
The Barça president also explained that the arrivals of new attacking reinforcements, such as Gordon and Adeyemi, do not affect the Brazilian’s status. Last season, Raphinha put in stellar performances with 21 goals and 8 assists in 33 matches. At 29, the Brazilian international remains at the heart of FC Barcelona’s project for the seasons to come.
