At last, FC Barcelona is set to return to its historic home, Camp Nou.

The wait is finally over. Forced to play at Montjuïc for their home games since the start of the 2023-2024 season due to renovation work at Camp Nou, FC Barcelona will make their long-awaited return to their stadium this Saturday, hosting Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. The Catalan club made the official announcement this Monday in a press release.

After several postponements, the reigning Spanish champions will finally step back onto their home turf, initially with a reduced capacity of 45,401 spectators (the final capacity of the revamped stadium will be 105,000 seats).
