FC Barcelona is already gearing up for the summer transfer window and searching for reinforcements at center-back. Among the Catalan club's top priorities is Josko Gvardiol.

According to several Spanish media outlets, including Cadena COPE, Barça is closely monitoring the situation of the Croatian defender from Manchester City. Still under contract for another season, the 24-year-old represents an intriguing opportunity for Barcelona, who hope to negotiate a cut-price transfer.

However, the deal will heavily depend on Manchester City's decision. A contract extension would make any move much more complicated for the Spanish club. In the meantime, Gvardiol remains focused on the World Cup with Croatia.
