Bayern: Manuel Neuer set to extend his contract

With his contract at Bayern expiring and at 40 years old, Manuel Neuer isn’t ready to hang up his gloves just yet. He’s set to extend his stay with the Bavarians.

Manuel Neuer has once again convinced Bayern to offer him a contract extension. According to Munich-based newspaper Abendzeitung, Neuer will extend his current deal with Bayern Munich until 2027.

This means he could be guarding the Munich goal until the age of 41. As a reminder, he arrived in Bavaria in 2011, joining from Schalke 04.
